Actress Lony’e Perrine is happy to announce she booked the role of Tasha in the USC thesis film, Son Shine, starring Marcus Chong from the Matrix. Son Shine, is a touching short film that explores the effects of the 1992 Los Angeles uprising on a 13 year old boy, Hakeem, and his father.
Lony’e will play Marcus’s loving wife and the proud yet concerned mother of Hakeem. She is proud to be apart of a film that shows a strong African American family unit and the importance of community. This film is being directed by the talented Katrelle Kindred.
